Roule Rodrigues

Roule Rodrigues hires scooters and cars on Rodrigues from its base in Baie aux Huîtres. The scooters are automatic 125cc Suzuki Burgman and Avenis models that carry two people, and the cars are automatics with air conditioning, a better choice for three or more people, small children or luggage from Plaine Corail airport.

Vehicles are delivered to and collected from your hotel or guest house anywhere on the island, and cars can be met at the airport. There is no minimum rental, though the daily rate drops from three days. Every scooter comes with a helmet for the rider and one for a passenger, which the law on Rodrigues requires, and third-party insurance is included. You need to be 18 or over with a valid licence for the vehicle, and an international permit is advised if your licence is not in the Latin alphabet.
