Ubike

Ubike hires bicycles from the Case Nautique shop on the corner of Rue de Labourdonnais and Rue La Plaine in Mahébourg, on the south-east coast. There are road bikes and off-road bikes, for a single day or several days, with the daily rate falling the longer you keep them. Equipment is checked and cleaned after every hire, and an after-hours drop-off can be arranged.

Mahébourg's waterfront, the old town and the coast road towards Blue Bay are all within easy riding distance. Ubike also runs a guided downhill ride from Rose-Belle to Mahébourg by way of the Eau Bleue waterfall.

The same shop runs kayak and snorkelling trips in Mahébourg bay under the Case Nautique name. Bikes are due back by 5 p.m. unless a later drop-off is agreed. Bookings are by phone or WhatsApp on +230 5251 8271, or on +230 631 5613.
