E-Lab Bikes

E-Lab Bikes hires electric bikes and mountain bikes from a shop on Royal Road in Grand Baie. The electric range includes fat-tyred models that cope with sand, hills and town streets, alongside a trekking e-bike and a Trek mountain bike for trails. Rentals run by the day, with a lower daily rate from three days, and longer hires can be arranged.

A helmet, a lock and a basket or bike bag come with every bike, and the shop can deliver to many of the larger hotels in the area. Delivery and collection are on request.

The shop also runs guided bike tours of the north of Mauritius, at levels from casual to more demanding, including a tour for children. It sells bikes as well. Bookings and questions go by phone or WhatsApp on +230 5713 7263.
