La Cuvette Beach

La Cuvette Beach is a public shoreline in the Grand Baie area of northern Mauritius. The Beach Authority’s official list of proclaimed beaches includes La Cuvette in its Rivière du Rempart district section. It sits beside Grand Baie, making it a convenient coastal stop when travelling around the north of the island. This is the public beach, not a nearby hotel or commercial service.

The official designation confirms it is part of Mauritius’s public-beach network, but it does not guarantee that every part of the beach is unaffected by work or temporary restrictions.
